Hacker team releases software to permit third-party apps on iPhone and iPod Touch (EARTHtimes.org)

A team of hackers have successfully released jailbreaks that can enable iPhone and iPod touch devices to receive unauthorized software. Called AppSnapp 1.1.1, the software has the ability to unlock the iPhone and iPod touch and install a new program called Installer.app onto the devices.
